Minimum Requirements

1. Windows XP SP3 or greater
2. 1GB of free RAM or greater
3. 2GHZ Pentium or greater processor
4. Twice the amount of space of total images for the hard drive that will contain the imported images.
   i.e. if you import 1,000 images, and they are 2mb, then you would need a minimum of 4GB to store all of your files    1000 * 2mb = 2GB     2GB * 2 = 4GB
5. A screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher

Patterning Deer requires a good Internet connection

If you plan on using W.I.S.E. for patterning deer with the weather, then high speed internet is a must initially. You will be downloading thousands of weather records per zip code, and dial-up is not fast enough.

After downloading the initial bulk of records, you could feasibly use dial-up to download the weather as long as you do it on a consistent basis, which will keep the data size low.

Although feasible, we still recommend high-speed internet. (This does not include satellite or mobile broadband)
